Carson Carmichael
Carson Carmichael practices principally in the area of administrative law and public utilities, as well as employing his background as a chemical engineer by leading the firm’s efforts in environmental law. He serves as general counsel to the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors and represents individuals and businesses before other State regulatory agencies.
Mr. Carmichael is a past chair of the Construction Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and served on the legal committee of the Governor’s Waste Management Board. He is an honors graduate in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and received his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review.
Mr. Carmichael is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and was named to The Best Lawyers in America. He frequently lectures at legal, professional and business seminars across the State and authored the licensing chapter of the North Carolina Construction Law Deskbook.
