Cathleen M. Plaut
Cathleen Plaut is the firm's Managing Partner. Her practice focuses on business law, employment law, commercial litigation and public utilities, particularly telecommunications and water/sewer. She regularly represents business owners, employers, financial institutions and public utilities. She is licensed to practice in all North Carolina State and Federal Courts.
Ms. Plaut has formed numerous corporations and limited liability companies. She frequently advises business owners on a myriad of business issues, including contracts, employment issues and regulatory compliance, and she frequently appears on their behalf in State and Federal Courts litigating commercial disputes and employment cases. In addition, she appears before the North Carolina Utilities Commission, and represents individuals and businesses subject to civil investigations by the North Carolina Attorney General.
